The teachers who will help you with this commitment are Heidi Hay and Rebecca Ryrberg, they have over 50 years of accumulated knowledge in the subject. 

Rebecca started her career as an apprentice in 2001. She was the chairwoman of the Swedish association for Tattoo Artists, SRT, for four years but has been on the board since the start in 2007. 

She has educated health inspectors in tattoo hygiene and is representing Sweden in the Council of European Tattoo Associations. Rebecca is also involved in the World Congress of Tattoo and Pigment Research as a speaker.

Heidi started tattooing in 1991 and she was the first female tattoo artist to open a studio in Sweden in 1992. She has been on the board of SRT since the beginning and before that the former association from 1998. In 2012 She participated as a judge on TV6 ”Inkmaster Sweden”.

Heidi has also been part of the jury at the oldest convention in Europe, the Berlin Tattooconvention, for many years. In 2012 and 13 She hosted her own international Tattooconvention in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Both Heidi and Rebecca got their Mastership Diplomas the first year they were handed out to tattoo artists in 2018. They are now in the committee that handles applications for Journeyman Certificates and Mastership Diplomas. 

They are also two of the authors of a book for apprentices in sweden.
